Fitter Technician - Braga, Portugal


As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing machinery, equipment, and piping systems in accordance with engineering specifications. You will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Cut, shape, and fit materials using hand or power tools
- Install machinery and equipment according to specifications
- Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, or plumb bobs
- Assemble piping systems for various applications
- Test installed machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or testing
- Complete all required documentation for each project

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and specifications
- Skilled in using hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and fitting materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately according to specifications
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques as needed
