Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings, structures, and sites. Your main duties will include conducting research, preparing preservation plans and designs, and overseeing restoration projects. You will also collaborate with engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure that preservation projects are in compliance with historical preservation regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience in historic preservation projects
- Excellent knowledge of architectural history and preservation techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Flexibility to travel to different locations for project assignments
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.
Location:
This position is based in Faro, a beautiful coastal city in Portugal known for its rich history and architecture.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The exact schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
Experience:
No prior experience is required for this role. However, candidates with previous experience in historic preservation projects will be given preference.
Accommodation:
Accommodation will not be provided by the company. Candidates must have their own housing arrangements in Faro.
