Contract Instrument Technician in Almada

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician for a contract position in Almada. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and possess a degree or certificate in instrumentation technology or a related field. The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot various types of instruments including pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves.
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and resolve any issues with instruments or control systems.
- Create detailed reports on maintenance activities and any necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrumentation technology.

Requirements:
- Degree or certificate in instrumentation technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician.
- Strong technical knowledge of different types of instruments and control systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow technical manuals and diagrams accurately.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
