Junior Project Manager

The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination and execution of projects in the city of Alta, Norway. This individual will work closely with the project team to ensure all tasks are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and organized individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing project plans, timelines and budgets
- Track progress of project tasks and provide regular updates to the project team
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects
- Conduct research and gather data for project analysis
- Prepare reports and presentations for project meetings
- Support in managing project documentation and maintaining records
- Assist in managing project resources and ensuring their availability as needed
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of Norwegian is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience working on projects or coordinating tasks is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Must have a valid biometric passport
