Junior Commercial Architect

We are in search of a talented and driven Junior Commercial Architect to join our team in Faro. As a Junior Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for assisting with the design and development of commercial spaces, such as offices, retail stores, and restaurants. You will work closely with senior architects to create plans and designs that meet client needs and adhere to building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to develop design concepts for commercial projects
- Assist with creating detailed plans, drawings, and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Research and stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction techniques
- Communicate with clients to understand their vision and needs for the project
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the construction process
- Ensure designs meet building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial architecture (internship experience will be considered)
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations
- Strong communication skills for working with clients and collaborating with team members
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a starting salary of $1200 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Faro but may require occasional travel to client sites within the region.

Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. Candidates must have their own housing arrangements in Faro.
