Sous Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are in search of a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Ajman. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of authentic Indian dishes in our kitchen. You must have a passion for Indian cuisine and a strong understanding of traditional cooking techniques and flavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Indian dishes according to established recipes
- Train and supervise other kitchen staff in the proper techniques and methods of preparing Indian cuisine
- Ensure quality control and presentation standards are met at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and flavors
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train others
- Excellent communication skills in English
