Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Akron. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge mobile applications for our clients. As an Android Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and functionality, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance for a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative, user-friendly mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mobile app development
- Optimize performance of existing apps for improved user experience
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in mobile app development
- Continuously improve code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and other best practices
- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to project planning

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Android app development
- Proficiency in Java and the Android SDK
- Strong understanding of software development principles and object-oriented programming
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.
- Experience working with React Native or other cross-platform frameworks

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Akron
