Plasterboard Worker


We are seeking an experienced Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Sheduva. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard panels on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard panels to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard panels using various methods including nailing, screwing, and gluing
- Finish joints between panels with tape and joint compound
- Smooth out imperfections and sand surfaces for a seamless finish
- Repair damaged or uneven surfaces prior to installation
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment while working
- Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of different methods for installing plasterboard panels
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with various tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Sheduva. Preference will be given to candidates who are already residing in the area, but relocation can be considered for the right candidate.

Accommodation:
This is not a live-in position so accommodation will not be provided by the company. Candidates must have their own arrangements for housing.
