Computer Support Specialist



A rapidly growing IT company in Atlanta is seeking a talented and experienced Computer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and maintaining network and system security.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with clients to identify and resolve technical problems.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email or remote tools
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and other devices
- Install and configure new computer systems
- Maintain network and system security through regular updates and patches
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their technical needs
- Document all support activities for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
