Carpenter - Contract Position in Nakuru, Kenya


We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will work on various projects ranging from residential homes to commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine project specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to the project requirements
- Cut, shape and smooth materials using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels, drills, sanders etc.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings and trim
- Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site
- Communicate with project managers and clients regarding project progress and any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Carpenter
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Good physical strength and stamina
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
- Indian nationality preferred

Salary & Benefits:
As a contract position, the salary for this role is 1800$. Accommodation will be provided by the company.
