Executive Chef
Our restaurant in Braga is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a creative approach to menu development. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, budgeting, and supervising staff.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an innovative and high-quality menu that meets the needs of our diverse clientele
- Manage food costs and inventory levels to ensure budget targets are met
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management on special events and promotions
- Continuously strive to improve the overall dining experience for our guests
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and international cuisines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month with the potential for bonuses based on performance. Accommodation is also provided for our out-of-town employees. This is a full-time position suitable for graduates looking to further their career in the culinary industry.
