A luxury hotel in Braga is seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef to showcase their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and execute menus for various dining outlets within the hotel, including fine dining restaurant, banquets, and room service
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and inventory management
- Ensure food quality and consistency through regular taste tests and inspections
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food presentation and service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Create innovative menu offerings that reflect current food trends while also catering to guest dietary restrictions or preferences
- Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, finance, and sales to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and international cuisines
- Proven track record of creating successful menus that meet guest expectations and drive revenue growth
- Experience managing food costs, inventory levels, and labor expenses to meet budget targets
- Fluent in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary:
The salary for this temporary position is $1600 per month.
