Instrument Technician
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial settings. This includes calibrating instruments, troubleshooting issues, and conducting routine inspections to ensure proper functioning. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment to complete your tasks and may be required to work in confined spaces or at heights.
Responsibilities:
- Install and set up new instruments according to specifications
- Perform regular maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and make necessary repairs
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions
- Calibrate instruments as needed
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Comply with safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Technical degree or certification preferred
- Familiarity with various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial settings
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Physically fit for potentially demanding tasks such as working in confined spaces or at heights
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Salary: 1300$ per month
