Typesetter

As a typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images in print or digital media. You will work closely with editors, designers, and clients to ensure that all elements are properly placed and formatted according to industry standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing text and images provided by clients or editors
- Choosing appropriate fonts, sizes, and layouts for different media
- Adjusting spacing, margins, and other formatting elements
- Ensuring consistency in design throughout a publication or project
- Collaborating with editors and designers to make changes as needed
- Checking for accuracy of spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Preparing final files for printing or publishing
- Staying updated on industry trends and software advancements

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree in graphic design or related field preferred)
- 1+ years of experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency with typography software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for print and digital media

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Ufa, Russia. Relocation assistance may be provided for candidates from other countries.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is not required for this position.

Experience Level:
This is an entry-level position. Candidates without prior experience will be considered.

Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. However, candidates must be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
