Junior Database Administrator
A Junior Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of a company's databases. They work closely with IT teams and business users to ensure that the database systems are running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in database management and administration, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Ensure data integrity and security
- Develop backup and disaster recovery plans
- Perform regular data backups and restorations
- Create database scripts for maintenance tasks
- Optimize database structures for improved performance
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement new databases or upgrades
- Provide technical support to business users
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or relevant role
- Knowledge of database design, backup, recovery, security, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with SQL language
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
Location:
This position is located in Beer-Sheva, Israel. We are open to candidates of all nationalities who have the necessary work permits.
Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.
