Sous Chef - Acre, Israel
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in the beautiful city of Acre, Israel. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$, as well as opportunities for growth and development within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Head Chef to create innovative and delicious menu items
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on cooking techniques, portion control, and plating presentation
- Ensure high quality and consistency of all food items served
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist with scheduling and managing kitchen staff shifts
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors from different cultures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
