Part-Time Heavy Equipment Operator in Svalbard


We are in need of a part-time Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Svalbard. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience operating heavy equipment and a biometric passport. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. This position is ideal for someone looking for part-time work and is open to freshers who have basic knowledge and are eager to learn. Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to safety protocols and procedures
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Follow instructions from supervisors and complete tasks efficiently
- Monitor equipment operations to ensure smooth functioning
- Report any issues or malfunctions immediately to supervisors
- Keep track of inventory and materials used during operations
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations

Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid biometric passport is required
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair of heavy equipment
- Excellent communication skills

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is $1500 per month.

This position is located in Svalbard, Norway.

Note: Preference will be given to local candidates or those with valid work permits in Svalbard.
