Accountant for International Company in Vilnius, Lithuania


We are a reputable international company based in Vilnius, Lithuania and we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1400 per month. This job is open to all nationalities, but we especially welcome Indian candidates.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout our organization. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company and supporting our growth.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify discrepancies or issues
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision making
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (no other language requirements)
- Familiarity with Lithuanian tax laws is a plus
