Part-Time Librarian in Al-Malikiyah



A reputable library in Al-Malikiyah is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Librarian to join our team. As a part-time librarian, you will be responsible for assisting patrons with research, managing library materials, and maintaining a clean and organized space. Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and locating materials
- Manage the circulation of library materials, including checking out and returning books
- Maintain an organized and clean library space
- Catalog new books and materials using the library's system
- Help with collection development by recommending new books and resources
- Plan and organize library events and programs for the community
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop strategies for increasing library usage

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Familiarity with cataloging systems and online databases preferred

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule will vary based on the needs of the library but may include evenings or weekends. Accommodation may be provided for candidates who live outside of Al-Malikiyah.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month, based on qualifications and experience.
