Computer Systems Analyst

A computer systems analyst is responsible for analyzing and assessing an organization's computer systems and procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing new systems or upgrades. They work closely with both technical and non-technical staff to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure the efficient operation of computer systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networks, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. This position is based in Balzers with a salary of 1400$ per month.

As a computer systems analyst, your responsibilities may include:

- Conducting research on current hardware and software technologies to identify potential solutions for organizational needs
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand system usage
- Designing system architectures and creating detailed technical specifications
- Developing test plans and conducting system testing to ensure functionality meets requirements
- Troubleshooting issues with existing systems and providing support to end-users
- Implementing system upgrades or new technologies in a timely manner
- Maintaining accurate documentation of system processes and procedures

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python or C++
- Experience with database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server or Oracle
- Knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and security principles
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall

This is a contract position that may require occasional travel within Balzers. Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates.
