Junior Architectural Designer


We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Architectural Designer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Junior Architectural Designer, you will work closely with senior architects and designers to assist in the design and development of architectural projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, creating drawings and models, and providing support throughout the design process.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Strong knowledge of design principles, drafting techniques, and construction methods
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Passion for architecture and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on project requirements, site conditions, and building codes
- Assist in the development of conceptual designs through sketches, models, and digital renderings
- Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD or other drafting software
- Collaborate with senior architects to refine designs and incorporate feedback
- Prepare presentations for client meetings or project reviews
- Attend site visits to observe construction progress and ensure designs are being implemented correctly
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and technologies

Salary:
This is an entry-level position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard. Applicants must be willing to relocate at their own expense.
