Part-time Turner
Location: Svalbard, Norway


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Turner to join our team on a part-time basis in Svalbard, Norway. As a Turner, you will be responsible for the fabrication and repair of metal parts using various techniques such as turning, milling, and drilling. This role requires previous experience in a similar position and proficiency in reading technical drawings. Accommodation is provided for this position. Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and repair metal parts using turning, milling, and drilling techniques
- Read technical drawings and accurately follow instructions
- Operate machinery such as lathes and grinders
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Turner or in a similar position
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings
- Familiarity with operating machinery such as lathes and grinders
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is 1600$ per month.

This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.
