Formwork Specialist


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Formwork Specialist to join our team in Washington. As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling temporary structures used for concrete pouring. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Construct formwork according to specifications
- Install and secure formwork for concrete pouring
- Use various hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Monitor the quality of work to ensure it meets project standards
- Dismantle formwork after concrete has set
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans accurately
- Strong physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time
- Proficient in using hand and power tools safely
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites
- Good communication skills

Preferred:
- Experience working with different types of formwork systems
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
- Bilingual (Filipino or Nepali)
- Experience working on projects that provide accommodation for employees

Salary: $1500 per month
