Software Tester


We are currently hiring a skilled Software Tester to join our team in Shan, Kenya. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for release. This is an English-speaking position suitable for men with experience in software testing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and create test plans
- Develop and execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs, defects, and other issues in software
- Document test results and communicate any issues or concerns to the development team
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing methods

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Attention to detail and ability to think critically
- Strong communication skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this position.

Location:
The position is located in Shan, Kenya. While preference will be given to Kenyan candidates, this position is open to all nationalities.
