Dietitian/Nutritionist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dietitian/Nutritionist to join our team in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based nutritional advice and support to clients. You will work closely with individuals to assess their dietary needs and develop personalized meal plans to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' dietary needs and health goals
- Create personalized meal plans based on individual requirements and preferences
- Educate clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and food choices
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to meal plans
- Provide ongoing support and motivation to clients in achieving their goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Stay updated on the latest research and trends in nutrition and dietetics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dietitian/Nutritionist
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles, food science, and human physiology
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in simple terms
- Empathetic nature with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Fluent in Portuguese (proficiency in English is a plus)
