Executive Pastry Chef - Manama, Bahrain


We are a high-end restaurant in Manama, Bahrain seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team. As an Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our dessert menu while maintaining the highest level of quality and creativity.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new dessert menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences
- Train and supervise pastry team members, ensuring all desserts are prepared to the highest quality standards
- Ensure all pastry products are consistently presented in an attractive manner
- Maintain inventory of all ingredients and supplies needed for pastry production
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus and cross-utilize ingredients
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to maintain profitability
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating unique and delicious desserts
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Education:
A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required. Prior experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month, based on experience.

Location:
Our restaurant is located in the bustling city of Manama, Bahrain. The candidate must be willing to relocate if not already residing in Manama.
