Live-In Caregiver in Porto, Portugal


Our client, a family in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Live-In Caregiver to provide care and support for their elderly family member. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month. The caregiver will be provided with accommodation and will need to have their own visa to work in Portugal.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transferring
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedule
- Plan and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the client
- Engage in meaningful activities with the client such as reading, playing games, or going for walks
- Monitor client's health and report any changes or concerns to the family or healthcare professionals

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver, preferably working with elderly clients
- Must have experience working with clients who have mobility issues or require assistance with daily living activities
- Must be able to work independently and have excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding towards elderly individuals
- Must have own valid visa to work in Portugal
