Junior Database Administrator


We are in search of a highly motivated and skilled Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Eschen. As a Junior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting with the management, monitoring, and maintenance of our company's databases. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual without prior experience to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the field of database administration.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and upgrading of database software
- Create and maintain database backups and recovery plans
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement security measures to protect data from unauthorized access
- Work closely with developers to optimize database performance for applications
- Perform data migrations between different systems as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of database management systems (Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with SQL language and ability to write complex queries
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1400$
Location: Eschen (open to all nationalities)
Employment Type: Contract (6 months)
Language Requirement: Fluent English (additional language skills are a plus)
