We are hiring an Entry Level Debt Collector to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Debt Collector, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debt payments. Your main goal will be to ensure that all debts are paid on time and in full. This position is suitable for freshers or those with no previous experience as training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Contact debtors via phone, email, and mail to request payment of outstanding debts
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors
- Maintain accurate records of all communication with debtors
- Update debtor information and account status in our database
- Follow up on payment arrangements and deadlines
- Report any issues or concerns to the Collections Manager

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Fluent in English (no other language skills required)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month for this position.
