IT Manager

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure and systems of our company in Vianden. You will manage a team of IT professionals and ensure that all technology resources are being utilized efficiently and effectively to support business operations. In addition, you will collaborate with various departments to identify and implement new technology solutions that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure security, reliability, and efficiency
- Oversee the maintenance and support of all hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications systems
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations
- Develop disaster recovery plans and perform regular backups of critical systems
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for improvement
- Manage IT budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT management role
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, hardware/software systems, security protocols, data backup/recovery procedures, telecommunications systems
- Proven experience managing a team of IT professionals
- Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-tech stakeholders
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on qualifications)

Contract Type: Full-time (40 hours per week), 1-year contract with possibility for extension

Location: Vianden (no accommodation provided)
