Merchandiser - Sharjah, UAE


Our fast-growing retail company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with product development teams to determine the most effective product assortment.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of merchandise.
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or markdowns as needed.
- Create attractive product displays to increase customer interest and enhance the shopping experience.
- Train store employees on proper merchandising techniques and standards.
- Develop promotional plans in collaboration with the marketing team to support new product launches or seasonal campaigns.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement and make necessary adjustments to merchandising strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and market conditions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser in a retail environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.

Contract Type:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Experience Required:
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser in a retail setting. Experience in the UAE market is preferred but not required.

Language Preference:
Proficiency in English is required for this role. Knowledge of other languages is considered an asset.

The job is based in Sharjah, UAE. Candidates from Nepal or Kenya with a valid work permit are encouraged to apply.
