Glazier Technician

As a Glazier Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various types of glass in buildings and structures. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment to measure, cut, and install glass in windows, doors, and other surfaces. This role requires experience in the field of glazing and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific openings
- Install glass in windows, doors, and other surfaces using adhesives or mechanical fasteners
- Repair or replace damaged or broken glass
- Work with various types of glass including tempered, laminated, and insulated
- Use tools such as cutters, grinders, drills, and saws to shape glass as needed
- Ensure proper fit and alignment of glass during installation
- Follow safety protocols while working at heights or with heavy equipment
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions accordingly

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a glazier or similar role
- Strong understanding of different types of glass and their properties
- Proficient in using tools and equipment related to glazing work
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate measurements
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy sheets of glass
- Attention to detail for precise installation work
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
Salary: 1400$ per month
