We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Librarian to join our team at our library in Almada. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and managing the library's collection of books, journals, and other materials.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, journals, and other materials
- Catalogue new acquisitions and maintain accurate records of all materials
- Assist patrons with finding and accessing information
- Develop and implement programs to promote reading and literacy
- Maintain the library's physical space, ensuring it is clean and organized
- Collaborate with teachers to support their curriculum needs
- Stay up-to-date on new technologies and resources in the field of librarianship

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a librarian in a similar setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in cataloging systems and database management
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $900 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Almada, Portugal. However, candidates with valid work visas from all nationalities are welcome to apply.
