Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Lahore. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data, as well as identifying any potential vulnerabilities and implementing necessary security measures. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in information security and possess strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices. This is a part-time position with the potential for visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect company information systems and data
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious or unauthorized behavior
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner, investigating root causes and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in cybersecurity, making recommendations for improvements as needed
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that security requirements are integrated into all aspects of system design and development
- Train employees on proper security procedures and protocols

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in information security or a similar role
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Familiarity with various network technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR or HIPAA
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certification such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects simultaneously
