Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our team at our restaurant in Funchal. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, taking their orders, and ensuring that they have a memorable dining experience. This is an urgent position and the ideal candidate must have their own visa and accommodation in Funchal.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist them with seating
- Present menus to guests and answer any questions they may have
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Process guest payments using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Assist with setting up tables for new guests as needed

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is not required but considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month plus tips.

Location:
This job is located in Funchal, Portugal. Applicants must have their own visa and accommodation in Funchal.
