We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Oslo, Norway. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts and pastries that will delight our customers. Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare delicious desserts and pastries according to the restaurant's standards
- Develop new recipes and seasonal menus
- Ensure all pastries meet quality and presentation standards
- Oversee all aspects of pastry production including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining equipment
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of all dishes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of different types of pastries, baking techniques, and flavor combinations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month, plus tips. The exact amount will be based on experience and qualifications.
