Glazier Supervisor


The ideal candidate for this position would be a skilled and experienced Glazier with a passion for supervising and leading a team. As a Glazier Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of glass installation projects, managing a team of glaziers, and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of glaziers in all aspects of glass installation projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark glass according to specifications using cutting tools
- Install glass in frames or on building exteriors, using hand tools
- Ensure that work is completed within established timelines and budget constraints
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with safety standards
- Provide training and guidance to new or less experienced glaziers on techniques, procedures, and safety protocols

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Glazier with supervisory experience preferred
- Familiarity with different types of glass including tempered, laminated, and insulated
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, methods, and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license
