Back-End Developer - Contract Position in Bergen, Norway


We are seeking a highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Bergen, Norway. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side of web applications and databases. Your primary focus will be developing and implementing efficient and secure code, while working closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Develop and maintain complex databases and APIs
- Troubleshoot and debug existing code
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure data security and protection
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with database design and management (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Understanding of DevOps principles and experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: Bergen, Norway

Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
