Librarian Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Librarian Assistant. As a librarian assistant, you will assist the head librarian in managing the library's collection, conducting research and providing reference assistance to patrons. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating materials and conducting research
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, including circulation and inventory
- Shelve books and other library materials according to established procedures
- Process new acquisitions and prepare them for circulation
- Assist with creating displays and promotional materials for library events
- Respond to patron inquiries via phone, email or in person
- Collaborate with colleagues on projects and initiatives related to library services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Basic knowledge of library systems and databases preferred
- Previous experience working in a library setting is a plus but not required
Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1200$ per month, based on qualifications and experience.

This position is located in Ufa, Russia.
