Job Title: Commercial Architect


As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings and structures in Funchal, Portugal. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to create functional and visually appealing spaces that meet their needs and budget. Your role will involve conducting site visits, creating detailed drawings and plans, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and objectives for the commercial project
- Conduct site visits to gather information on the existing conditions of the site
- Create detailed designs, drawings, and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Present design concepts to clients for approval
- Develop project timelines and manage budgets to ensure project completion within the specified time and cost constraints
- Oversee construction progress to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the construction process
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that work is being carried out according to standards
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, health and safety standards, and other applicable laws or regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience as a Commercial Architect or similar role in designing commercial buildings or structures
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software
- In-depth knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, structural systems
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable depending on experience)
