Barista

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to our customers. You will need to have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience as a barista and a passion for coffee. This position is located in Eschen, Canada, but we welcome applicants of any nationality who are legally able to work in the country.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks according to customer requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Educate customers about our coffee offerings and make recommendations based on their preferences
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to management
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail when preparing drinks to ensure consistency and quality
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds comfortably
- Must hold or be eligible for legal authorization to work in Canada

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Weekend availability is required. The cafe may operate during weekends, holidays, or special events. Employees receive competitive pay starting at $1600 per month with opportunities for tips.
