Experienced Tiler in Svalbard


We are urgently seeking an experienced Tiler to join our team in Svalbard. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tiles on various surfaces such as floors, walls, and ceilings. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tiler
- Proficient in using tools and equipment related to tiling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different tile types, patterns, and installation techniques
- Must have a valid biometric passport or willing to obtain one
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Physically fit and able to work in different environments
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas using hand or power tools
- Install tiles on floors, walls, and ceilings according to design plans
- Repair or replace damaged tiles
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by removing old tiles, cleaning, and leveling
- Mix and apply grout or cement between tiles for proper adhesion
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while working on job sites
- Communicate with clients regarding project requirements and updates
