We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Librarian Assistant in Bansko, Bulgaria. As a Librarian Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian in managing the day-to-day operations of the library. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for books and is looking to gain experience in the field of library science.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in cataloging and organizing books and other materials in the library system
- Help patrons locate materials and provide reference services as needed
- Maintain inventory and ensure that all materials are properly shelved and accessible
- Assist with collection development by recommending new acquisitions based on user needs
- Process new materials by adding them to the library system and labeling them appropriately
- Provide basic computer assistance to patrons using library resources
- Help with event planning and implementation, such as author visits or book clubs
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning shelves and equipment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not required
- Previous experience working in a library or similar setting is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with library systems and databases is an asset
- Proficient in basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
