Entry-Level Turner

We are a manufacturing company in Porto looking for an entry-level Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to create precision metal parts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in the manufacturing industry and eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints and specifications to determine the appropriate machining methods
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machine tools
- Monitor the production process and adjust settings as needed to ensure quality output
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and make any necessary adjustments
- Maintain machinery by performing routine maintenance tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical or vocational training in machining preferred
- No prior experience necessary, but some basic knowledge of machine tools is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.
