Turner - Machinist


As a Turner-Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders. You will be expected to use your knowledge of engineering principles and tools to create precise metal parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, milling, grinding, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine the dimensions of the parts required
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop area
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is preferred
- Proven experience as a Turner or Machinist in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers)
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches accurately
- Familiarity with various machine types (e.g. lathes, milling machines)
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if necessary
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential for this role

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Porto, Portugal (candidates from other nationalities are welcome)
Visa: Free visa sponsorship provided by employer
Travel: One-way ticket provided by employer
