Land Surveyor - Eldoret, Kenya
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys to determine and record property boundaries, as well as creating maps and legal descriptions for various construction projects. This position requires excellent mathematical and analytical skills, as well as the ability to use specialized equipment such as GPS systems and total stations. You must also have knowledge of surveying laws and regulations in Kenya. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys to determine boundaries and create accurate maps
- Use specialized equipment such as GPS systems and total stations
- Analyze data and prepare reports for clients
- Ensure compliance with surveying laws and regulations in Kenya
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals on construction projects
- Keep accurate records of survey data for future reference
- Communicate with clients to understand their project needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor preferred but not required
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with surveying laws and regulations in Kenya
- Proficient in using specialized equipment such as GPS systems and total stations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
