Contract Accountant - Oslo, Norway


We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Accountant to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company on a contractual basis. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounting and a strong understanding of financial regulations and laws in Norway. This is a contract position without accommodation, so we prefer candidates with their own visa and authorization to work in Norway. Salary for this role is 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial records and transactions for the company
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to the finance team
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws in Norway
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial data
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Identify areas for cost savings or revenue generation
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations in Norway

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of Norwegian accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Fluency in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)
