Head Chef


A luxury hotel in Nizwa is seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in fine dining and international cuisine. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about creating unique and flavorful dishes, while also maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management
- Create innovative and seasonal menus that showcase local ingredients
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency and efficiency in food production
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to create special event menus
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine, with an emphasis on Middle Eastern flavors
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Strong creativity and ability to develop unique dishes that appeal to a wide range of tastes
- Experience managing budgets, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
