Entry-Level Painter in Svalbard


We are seeking a talented and driven Entry-Level Painter to join our team in Svalbard. As a painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting surfaces, selecting appropriate tools and materials, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to start their career as a painter and is passionate about creating beautiful spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Select and mix paints to achieve desired colors and textures
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers or sprayers
- Protect surrounding areas from paint spills or splatters
- Inspect finished work for quality and touch up as needed
- Clean up work area and properly store tools and materials

Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions
- Good time management skills to complete projects within deadlines
- Basic knowledge of painting techniques and tools preferred but not required
