Information Security Analyst



As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the company's sensitive data and information systems from cyber threats and attacks. You will work closely with the IT team to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Your main goal will be to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's data.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for any suspicious activity
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans in case of a security breach
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
- Train employees on security best practices and protocols
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner and conduct forensic investigations when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in information security or related field
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web applications
- Knowledge of industry standard security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, etc.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Faisalabad (accommodation provided)

Contract Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA
- Experience with incident response and forensics
- Knowledge of cloud computing security principles
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
